Finally! As I mentioned in this post where I shared my excitement at having recieved and invitation to collaborate with VIDA VOICES with my photography, there were still 3 designs that hadn´t gone live. Well this morning they finally went live and I love , love, love them! Don´t forget to visit my VIDA shop, we only have 7 days to place 3 pre orders per design to be able to go to production! For every VIDA product made, the company offers literacy programs for the makers in Karachi, Pakistan. You can look a bit more into the story behind this beautiful project here. So help me spread the word so we can make this happen! (International shipping available)

my week, my instagram + bummer
So... just when I was getting started with My Week, My Instagram (and lovin´it) my cel phone gets stolen. I don´t know if I´ll be able to replace it any time soon (although I´m secretly wishing I wake up tomorrow with a new one under my imaginary Christmas Tree) so I´m posting this week´s instagram pics without any clear idea of when the next one will be. Bummed but trying to stay positive.

Vida Voices + Me
Something wonderful and inspiring happened to me a few days ago! I recieved an invitation to collaborate with VIDA, a Google Ventures backed fashion ecommerce platform that brings together designers and makers around the world to create original, inspiring apparel in a socially conscious way.
VIDA is a truly beautiful project. It gives its designers the chance to convert their art into products like scarves, tops and dresses. For every VIDA product made, the company offers literacy programs for the makers in Karachi, Pakistan. These makers have the opportunity to learn reading, writing and maths, which they may not have had the opportunity to do before. This platform is also an interesting model for manufacturing in a digital age, all made better by being socially conscious.
I dove in a bit more, checked out their beautiful video and was very inspired to start working on my designs! The opportunity to make my photographs into wearable, beautiful products, in a sustainable way seduced me.
"Loneliness" is my first design to go live. There’s still time to purchase this first design. I have to make a minimum of 3 pre-orders of each design for it to go into production. You can stop by my Vida Voices shop and check out my first design! VIDA ships within the US as well as internationally,. Remember pre-orders are only available for another 6 days.
I wanted to share the photos I´ve selected for the following designs, I feel they flowed wonderfully with VIDA´s elegant silk scarves and tops. I am very happy with the result and can´t wait for these to go live! I´ll keep updating as the designs go live so that we can make this come true!

"Project Photo Shoot"
Barroca is a beautiful project filled with soul and brought to life by Valeria. In this little corner of heaven she dreams, grows and creates magic. From rich handmade soaps and shampoos, to teas, tinctures and floral therapy, all she creates is made with love from organic plants she carefully cultivates on this well loved piece of land. Being able to capture all the magic and care behind Barroca was a true pleasure.

Barroca es un hermoso proyecto lleno de alma y hecho realidad por Valeria. En este rinconcito de cielo ella sueña, siembra y crea magia. Desde exquisitos jabones y shampoos, a maravillosos tes, tinturas y terapia floral. Todo lo que ella crea es hecho con amor con las plantes orgánicas que cuidadosamente cultiva en este maravilloso pedazo de tierra bien amada. Tener la oportunidad de capturar toda la magia y cuidado detrás de Barroca fue un verdadero privilegio.
