Mr B. and I think it very important that our little ones be an active part of our homestead project. We believe it will not only help them learn the value of work, recognizing the important role they play in our family, celebrating the results of our team effort, but also allow them to be witness to the beauty of caring for something, watching it grow, flourish, then seeing it turn into a deliciously healthy meal. I can´t begin to describe the value all this has for us. I plan on taking advantage of summer to integrate their new responsibilities to their chore chart and help them ease into all this new-ness with a stress free attitude. Dirt filled nails and sweet smiles.
PS: I´m off to my designers fair again this Friday and will be out all weekend long. Probably won´t be around much. I hope you all have a love-ly weekend! See you next week!
El Sr. B y yo creemos que es muy importante que nuestros pequeños sean una parte activa de huerto-granjita, de nuestro proyecto de vida. Creémos que no solo aprenderán el valor del trabajo, dándose cuenta del papel tán impotante que juegan en nuestra familia, celebrando los resultados de nuestro trabajo en equipo, sino que también les permitirá ser testigos de la belleza de cuidar de algo, verlo crecer, florecer, y después saborearlo al convertirse en una exquisita y sana comida. No puedo empezar a descibir el valor que todo esto tiene para nosotros. Planeo aprovechar el verano para integrar sus nuevas responsabilidades a su tabla de deberes y ayudarlos a acostumbrarse a todas estas responsabilidades nuevas con una actitud libre de estrés. Tierra bajo las uñas y sonrisitas sabrosas.
PD: Nuevamente salgo para el bazar de diseñadores este viernes y estaré fuera todo el fin de semana. Probablemente no podré pasar por aquí muy seguido. ¡Espero que todos tengan un lindo fin de semana! ¡Nos vemos la semana que entra!
