My baby brother has a baby girl... I know... weird. So, babygirl grows each time I blink and is in desperate need of some new outfits. My brother´s always been a big fan of my "Recycle Fashion", so we raided his T-Shirt drawer and decided to dress her up. It´s about time!
1st T-SHIRT RECYCLE:
Mi hermanito chiquito tiene una bebé... lo sé... raro. Pues, la nenita crece cada vez que parpadeo y le urgen atuendos nuevos. A mi hermano siempre ha sido fan de mi "Reciclado Fashion", así que invadimos su cajón de playeras. Ahora ¡a trabajar! ¡Ya era hora!
1ra PLAYERA RECICLADA:
This is one of his fave T-Shirts (it shrunk big time)... he´s big into Reggae and I just know he´ll love to see his little princess dressed the part. Here´s the how-to:

1. Cut the very bottom off and then a larger piece (this will be used for the chest area and the shoulder straps)1. Corta la parte inferior pegado a la base y también una pieza más ancha (ésta será usada para la parte del pecho y las tiras del los hombros)
2. Cut the "chest piece" preferably after having measured the width needed directly on the princess involved. This will seperate it from the fabric you will use for the shoulder straps.

7. I like playing "puzzle" each time I recycle a T-shirt. I recomend you do this as well. This is when I decide where the straps will go, ruffles and other details, etc... In this case I also decided to add strips from another T-Shirt on the sides to give the dress a little more room.

Se los recomiendo mucho. Este es el punto donde decido donde van las tiras de los hombros, detalles como bobos, etc... En este caso también decidí añadir piezas de otra playera a los lados para darle un poco mas de vuelo al vestido.
