Gala LOVES it for obvious reasons
I feel happy just seeing how purple and orange look together. I had this orange jersey fabric and decided to mix, match, have fun and...
make a dress!
Elastic just below the sleeves (this gives it that "imperial cut" look)
And happy ruffles at the bottom.
I think I´ll experiment a whole bunch with this idea just because it´s so easy, so cheap, so comfy AND I won´t go green in the face when Gala comes back from school the color of mud or finger paints.
NOTE: If the neck is too wide for baby-girl, you can slit a small openening on the inside of the T and slide a thin elastic through from one side to the other, pull taught, sow and close (peasant dress style). I find this to be soooo easy, I didn´t think it was worth a tutorial, but if anyone wants a tutorial, I´d be happy to post one with the next T-shirt I get my hands on!
