This is fantastic. I've always loved this color combination. I call it the "Pistachio effect". The tunic turned out great. I really need a little girl to sew for.
I'd love if you came and linked up your top in my Top-toberfest link party. I'm celebrating tops and tees all week long.

Hi Tara! Tanks for your sweet comment! About sharing how to make one of my tunics, that´s easy and complicated at once. I actually bought the pattern on Etsy and then "Frankensteined" it. Yes, I totally did NOT follow the rules´(I´ve still got that rebel in me!)The pattern is made to be reversible and does not use bias tape. The link to the pattern on Etsy is: http://www.etsy.com/listing/58778989/reversible-tunic-top-dress-12-months?
and if you would like me to explain how I re-did and overhauled this specific pattern just gimme a holler! Clau
Hi Clau, I´ve seen the tunic pattern in etsy. Love your version much more. I like the way you choose fabric for tunic and bias tape, too. As I see, you made two different button closures for this tunic and the twirl tunic. May 100 readers be a reason for a new tutorial :)
Very Pretty! I love the purple and green!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Making It With Allie!
