we had our nephrology appointment the other day. big G had his complete check up and we were told that his overall health superseded all expectations. i was never told how low his life expectancy actually was after we left the hospital because his case of UHS was atypical, until now. sort of glad no one ever told me. but it did shake me a bit. the important thing is, he´s here now, happy and strong. my little warrior.
pre-chritsmas caos is in full effect right now. thank you for bearing with me. we will be leaving for Perú to spend Christmas with my huge family. quite the trip, quite the experience and quite the headache if you are into traveling in an orderly fashion, the way i am.
tuvimos nuestra cita anual con el nefrólogo el otro día. G grande tuvo su revisión completa y se nos dijo que su salud en general supera cualquier expectativa que pudieran haber tenido los médicos. nunca se me dijo lo mal que era su pronóstico una vez salido del hospital, debido a que su SUH había sido atípico. creo que me da gusto que nadie me lo haya dicho. pero si me sacudió. lo importante es que está aquí ahora, feliz y fuerte. mi pequeño guerrero.
el caos pre-navideño está en pleno apogeo. gracias por su paciencia. estaremos saliendo para Perú a pasar la Navidad con mi enorme familia. un verdadero viaje, una hermosa experiencia y un verdadero dolor de cabeza antes de partir si eres alguien que viaja con todo bajo control y drenado, como yo.
