Funky Lookin´Corkboard Refab

FUCHI CORCHO RENOVADO

I wanted to do something nice for my sweet mama. She´s about to come home from one of her long trips to our Peru, and I always like it when she finds something sweet and different on her return. This time it was:

Quería hacer algo lindo para mi preciosa mamita. Está a punto de regresar de uno de sus viajes largos a nuestro amado Perú, y me gusta cuando encuentra dulces detallitos a su regreso. Esta vez fué su "Fuchi Corcho Renovado"!

I have all these things stashed in hidden corners, under tables and inside boxes. I like to call them little treasures, but I sometimes feel
I´m turning into somewhat of a hoarder. Then projects like these come along, and there´s this little voice inside me tht says, "See! I told you this would all come in handy someday!"
(And so begins another year of hoarding)

Tengo todas estas cosas guardadas en rincones secretos, debajo de mesas y en infinidad de cajitas. Me gusta llamarlos mis pequeños tesoros, pero a veces siento que me voy conviertiendo, lentamente, en pepenadora. Pero de pronto aparecen proyectos como estos y hay una vocesita dentro de mi que grita, "¡Ves, te lo dije que todo esto sería de utilidad algún día!"
(Y así comienza un año más de pepenar)


I woke up this morning determined to revamp my mom´s funky lookin´corkboard gypsy style!

¡ Desperté esta mañana determinada a revivir el deprimente corcho de mi mamá al estilo gitano!


So this is what I had for breakfast (hence the 10 am heartburn): coffee, glue gun and "treasures".

Así que esto fue lo que desayuné (de ahí la acidez estomacal de las 10am): café, pistola de silicón y "tesoritos".
